Push notifications,
free forever.
A OneSignal-compatible push platform for iOS, Android and web — free to 100,000 monthly active users per app, with one flat plan past that. Segments, templates, Journeys, Live Activities, Intelligent Delivery, all of it. Your credentials, straight to Apple and Google.
Delivery funnel · comeback → lapsed-7d
The whole workflow. Free.
Not a free tier with the good parts held back. Journeys, in-app messages, Live Activities, A/B tests and Intelligent Delivery ship on the free plan, uncapped — the things a paid plan usually gates.
Lifecycle flows that run themselves
Segment- or event-triggered. Push and in-app steps, wait, wait-until-event, time windows, tag, yes/no on what the person did, weighted splits with a holdout, goals, Live Activity and webhook steps. No cap on active journeys. See a journey →
The Lock Screen, live
Start, update and end iOS Live Activities from the console or the API, push-to-start included; Android gets the same moments as Live Updates. See one run →
Each person's own hour
Learns when each device actually opens, and sends then — or at a chosen local time per timezone. How it decides →
Cards over your own UI
Top, center, bottom, full screen or carousel, with triggers, buttons and reports. No notification permission involved — and a journey can send one as a step.
Talk to it from your coding agent
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code to app.openpush.ai/mcp: read reports, trace a delivery, prepare sends, segments and journey drafts. Every write is two-step, and the only delete it can prepare is a live event. Connect an agent →
The vocabulary you know
last_session, session_count, tags, language, custom events. Unlimited segments, unlimited data tags.
Reusable messages, tested copy
Liquid personalization, translations, image uploads, notification actions. A/B test two to ten versions and send the winner to the audience held back. Queue, cancel, fire — with a live countdown.
An honest funnel
Audience → Sent → Delivered → Confirmed → Clicked, with a separate Held bucket. Events and conversions, and message activity streamed to your own server or Amplitude. No vanity numbers.
No fatigue
Held pushes release when the window opens — they don't silently vanish.
Straight from OneSignal
Paste your OneSignal REST key: subscribers, opt-in status, tags, message history and templates come across. CSV works too. Compatibility matrix →
Ask, compose, translate
Ask OpenPush answers questions about delivery, audiences and journeys from your app's own rows. Draft copy, segments and journeys grounded in what already worked, and fill every language. Nothing sends by itself, and every workspace gets 10,000 OpenTokens a month for it, free.

Delivery is free. So push should be.
Apple's APNs and Google's FCM charge no per-message transport fee — so delivery doesn't get more expensive as you grow. The console on top is software we run (yes, it costs us something), so push is free to 100,000 MAU per app and an app past that pays one flat plan. A price, not a meter on your subscriber list.
Numbers you can trust.
Every send produces a funnel you can audit: who you targeted, what caps held back, what reached the provider, what actually landed, who tapped. Failed is failed, delivered is delivered — we don't blend them.
✓ Held is its own bucket — a provider accepting a message is never reported as a delivery
Free to 100K MAU.
Flat past it.
Every push feature on this page is free to 100,000 MAU per app. Past that, one flat plan covers each app to a million. Never per subscriber.

Questions, answered.
Is OpenPush really free?
Yes — push is free forever, to 100,000 monthly active users per app, and every push feature on this page is included: Journeys, in-app messages, Live Activities, Intelligent Delivery, A/B tests, the MCP server, unlimited segments and tags. OpenPush AI comes with a free monthly allowance. An app past 100,000 MAU needs Pro, a flat $99 a month that covers it to a million. We never charge per subscriber. All six plans →
What does OpenPush AI cost?
Every workspace gets 10,000 OpenTokens a month, free: roughly 80 Ask questions, or several hundred AI-written drafts. Paid plans from $19 a month hold more. When the allowance runs out the assistant pauses until the 1st, and sends and journeys keep running. Your own AI connected over MCP is not metered.
What launches on Oct 20?
All of it, on one day: iOS (APNs), Android (FCM) and web push; Journeys; in-app messages; Live Activities; Intelligent Delivery; A/B tests; OpenPush AI and Ask OpenPush; the MCP server for coding agents; data connections; the OneSignal importer; the iOS, Android and Unity SDKs (for early-access teams now, public on GitHub soon); and the docs. Early-access teams are onboarded first.
How is this different from Firebase Cloud Messaging?
FCM is a free pipe — and OpenPush uses it for Android delivery. We add the product on top: segments, templates, journeys, scheduling, caps, analytics, and a console your whole team can use.
Can I import my OneSignal subscribers?
Yes. Paste a OneSignal REST key and OpenPush pulls your subscribers, opt-in status, tags, templates and message history, or upload the CSV export. Subscription status is preserved exactly — unsubscribed stays unsubscribed.
What happened to OneSignal's Free plan on Oct 1?
OneSignal has told its customers that from October 1, 2026 the Free plan is capped at 1,000 monthly active users, and organisations above the cap must upgrade to keep sending. OpenPush is free to 100,000 MAU per app, a hundred times that cap. If you are above it, the migration takes an afternoon.
How is free push sustainable?
Delivery carries no per-message transport fee — APNs and FCM don't charge to deliver — so cost doesn't scale with your audience the way a per-MAU meter does. Running the console, storage and analytics still costs us something, and so does every AI answer. We cover it with flat plans for apps past 100,000 MAU and for heavier use of OpenPush AI, and keep push itself free below that line. Free is a deliberate choice, not a trick.
Who's behind OpenPush?
A mobile game studio that runs millions of push subscribers in production. We built OpenPush for ourselves when our push bill went vertical — and we run our own games on it.
